Lucy Carter:
What will I do to install solar energy on my phone? I suffer very much when trying to charge my phone. Sometimes, I stand by a kiosk and pay money to charge. Sometimes, I stay in a hotel room and charge. I spend my last Kobo for hotel bills.

To be honest, I am probably not the most qualified to answer this question, given that I am a student and author, not a solar technician. However, as an environmentalist, I totally sympathize with your concerns, so I'll try my best to answer this:
My family actually has a solar panel placed on top of this large reused table with a lid that opens up; inside the lid is the entire set up: the solar power inverter, a place to plug in our chargers, etc. There is also a battery at the bottom that is plugged into the solar panels to store solar energy. I have used it in the past to charge my tablet/phone, and my dad has even used it to charge this "robot" we use to clean our swimming pool. The entire setup is obviously placed outside. It seems to work very well in the summer, at least where I live, although I have noticed that my devices charge slower (or do not even charge at all) in cooler climates, like in the winter.
Unfortunately I do not have a comprehensive list of all the technology used for that setup, as I was not the one who installed it, and again, I am not a technician and do not have any engineering credentials, so you might want to research how to set up solar panels.
I have also seen portable solar phone chargers online, so maybe you can research one on Amazon if you do not want to go through the entire trouble of setting up solar panels just to charge a phone. Plus, those are easier to carry. I guess it depends on what you want to do with the solar energy and what resources you have.
Hope this helps. :)
