Robin Stevens Not a strange question at all! I assume she goes to school in Cairo quite happily, and then perhaps heads back to Hong Kong in the late 1930s. It's possible she might leave for Australia in the build up to/beginning of WW2, as a lot of kids and young people from Hong Kong families did, or she might stay in Hong Kong. But as I've never written any of this down in my books, you're welcome to imagine Victoria's life for yourself!
