What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Steven Leonard The same advice I received from an English professor in college who saw the potential in me to write: "Write and write often. Publish something at least once a year, every year." Never rest on your laurels. Once you finish something, move on to the next. Challenge yourself, too. Push yourself to write for different publishers that want different things from you. That will help you to broaden your reach and appeal, while exposing you to a wider swath of the publishing world.
