Hi! I just finished the Muir Harbor series, and I LOVED them. Your characters are so lifelike and sweet and funny! Are you going to write any more for that series? Like a novella? I'm just so sad to see Muir Harbor go!

Melissa Tagg Awww, thank you so much, Marie! I'm so glad you liked the Muir Harbor books. I had a blast writing them and with so many of my other books taking place in Iowa, it was fun to branch out to Maine. Although, I will admit, the mystery of that series about broke my brain, but still, I loved the challenge of it. And yeah, I don't think I'm done with Muir Harbor. :) There's one side character in particular who I think might need her own story someday. Plus, when we did the covers for this series, there were a couple that didn't make the final cut that I loved soooooooo much, so if for no other reason than I really want to use at least one of those covers, I do think I'll eventually write another Muir Harbor story. Haha! Thanks again for reading them!

I'm an aspiring writer, but I'm dealing with two things: I get discouraged every single day because 96% of manuscripts are rejected, and I haven't had an idea for years, literally. There's too many people wanting to be writers, and knowing there's so much competition just kills me a little every day. When I get motivated, immediatly something appears about the industry that kills it. Any tips on how to deal with this?
