What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

Demi Blaize Oooo... the mystery of what ever happened to my private school acceptance letter. As an extremely shy introvert, I was also pretty decent academically, and was accepted into a 'Select' school for children with higher aptitudes. I saw the letter, cried when I opened it (I was being bullied at the time and saw this as a way out), and when I'd left it on the dining room table to help my younger sister with something, I'd come back to find it gone.

I'd never heard about the school or the offer that was made until years later, where my mother assured me I would never have wanted to go there. I still don't know her reasons behind holding me back from an opportunity to leave a school I hated for a fresh start, but I don't regret where life has taken me now.
