The best thing about being a writer is being your own boss and working from home.
There is no traffic jams to wade through, or stress you out or waste time in. You can take a break whenever you want. You can get up and walk away from your computer and stretch your legs when you wish and you can grab a coffee whenever you feel like it.
Working from home also means you need to set yourself goals and adhere to those self-imposed rules so that you don’t procrastinate and lose work time.
A writer needs to have a great imagination and also needs to be determined and driven.
It can also sometimes be lonely since you’re not interacting with other people face to face.
