Hi Jodi. I just found your St Mary’s books in 2023 and try to stop myself from reading every book in one month! I’m trying to spread them out over time, as they bring me just pure utter joy! My question, do you have notebooks filled with ideas due to the vast historical subjects to choose from, or is it a brainstorm of your creative mind and then you write one book? Either way, please don’t stop! Thank you!

Hi, what an interesting question. Actually, I don't know. I do have notebooks because ideas come to me out of nowhere and sadly I'm at an age where if I don't write it down immediately it's gone forever. So - a notebook in every room. Usually something appeals to me and I think I could make something of it so I start to weave a story around it and then I start writing. Other ideas come along as the characters sort themselves out and I get to know them better. I do like to have an idea of the ending before I start. The story may not necessarily end up with that particular ending but it gives me something to aim towards as I write. I'm happy to swirl the story around and create new bits as I go but I do like the security of an ending first. Not sure what that says about me! And no - no intention of stopping yet. Best regards, Jodi.

Hi Jodi, I discovered your St Mary's books late last year. I've since read them all. I ADORE them. They are an absolute joy (except for the one, you know the one, with events so painful it just about killed me, but even then it was still a great book). I just wanted to ask if you'll continue writing more? I really really hope so. I recommend them to everyone & would love to read more more more.

After seeing a review on AudioGals, I listened to Isabella Barclay's A Bachelor Establishment and found it delightful. I don't particularly like time-travel or supernatural, so I wondered whether you have plans to write another Regency romance? If I do decide to try the St. Mary's Chronicles series, do they need to be read in order?
