How do you get inspired to write?

Morgan Campbell This is where my background in daily journalism paid off, because it taught me never to depend on inspiration. If need to write, I write. And if I'm working on something big, I work on it every day. If I wait till I'm inspired or motivated or feeling a vibe I might wind up waiting weeks to get something done, and I can't afford that. This is a business. So I treat writing like I treat working out. Motivation comes and goes, but consistency wins.
