Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Eva Karin Lindström The genesis of my most recent book lies in a blend of my personal experiences, thoughts, and observations of contemporary times. Initially, I decided the protagonist would journey across Russia—a concept conceived before Russia's invasion of Ukraine. As the narrative developed, it became essential to weave in contemporary events, allowing the unfolding global circumstances to naturally shape the storyline. This interplay of preconceived ideas and real-world developments culminated in a story that evolved organically from one chapter to the next.
