I am not able to visualize the Ley Training School. What could it compare to in the US? I am also unfamiliar with the items described in the gymnasium. Like the boom and the equipment that the women use in the demonstration. Is there a sort of 2 level balance beam? It sounds like several people are on it at once. Perhaps there is a vintage film somewhere depicting this type of gymnasium. I do love the book!
