It was written for adult readers, but there's no racy content. There are themes of death and depression, and some horrific scenes as well (light on gore, and very infrequent), but apart from that, it would suit teens as well. I'd say it feels on par with older Indiana Jones movies, which is the feel I was going for, in some ways.
