Hi Gareth Brown /wave I read your biography and am curious, what made you publish "The Book of Doors"? I am thrilled that you did! Your book has the creativity that I crave,, along with the character, world building and plot to back up the idea. So much good! Second question, if I may. What's snooker? Is it anything like pool? Thank you for writing and publishing your book! Panda

Hi Panda! I didn't publish The Book of Doors... my publishers did! It was the first book of mine that anyone wanted to publish so that's how it got out in the world! Thank you for your kind words! So pleased you enjoyed it. Snooker is a cue sport, like pool, but played on a much larger table and with different rules. It's very popular in the UK and increasingly in China and Europe. Thank you for your question!

Gareth Brown:
The book of Doors was such a beautifully written and magical story — I enjoyed it from the first to the last word. My best read of 2025! Chapter 5 struck me deeply — Cassie creating books from memory and emotion was so powerful. It made me reflect on how our inner world might be more real than we think and what we create with it. Thank you for this incredible book! Will there be a sequal? Can't wait to read more!
