I first read Outlander by Diana Gabaldon at least 20 years ago, and I've followed Claire and Jamie's love story ever since. The idea of inadvertently traveling back in time captivated me. Coupled with my love of history, and all things French, Etched in Stone formed in my mind over several years, eventually transforming into the story it is today!
