Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

T.D. Shields I often see something on tv, in a book, or in daily life that just triggers a little "what if?" In this case, I saw the skyline of Denver one morning shrouded in fog and it looked kind of like smoke. Suddenly I wondered: "What if Denver was destroyed in some kind of disaster?" That question led to the whole storyline of "Into Shadow" and "Into Light."
