Hi Joy, I just finished listening to the 2nd Ellie McEwan book and loved it as much as the first one, if not more. I know they are "recently rediscovered" older works but are there any plans for more books in this series? I love the characters and would love to get another fix of Ellie & co. Very different from the other series', all of which I've enjoyed.

Hello Brad I'm absolutely delighted that you like Ellie! I am totally indebted to my amazing publisher Jasper Joffe for daring to take a risk and publish such early work. However... of all my books and I guess there are around 34 or so now, they have had the most requests for a follow-on novel... so I am writing one as we speak! The fact is, although they were written a very long time ago, I can remember how much I enjoyed the process of both researching and writing them, so with Jasper's blessing, there will be a third!

I just love both series, but Nicki’s stories are wonderful. I’m reading Hidden on the Fens atm as an ARC. Just adore both series, the characters are so well rounded, they feel like family! I really don’t know how you think up such complex stories? I try and savour them, not read them too quickly. I also like the way the two series interact with each other, maybe Rory will help out Jackman or vice versa.

During the lock down I have read all your books on my Kindle, however just one thing that annoyed me in all of them was the number of times someone ran their fingers through their hair, I am now 75 years old and in all my working life have never come across anyone who does this. Apart from that I can not wait for 30th November when your next book comes out?
