I'd time travel to the world I created in my new book, "The Satyr in Bungalow D": My hometown of Fleischmanns, in 1963. Not just because I've populated it with satyrs who love to make women happy, but because I was too young in 1963 to fully appreciate it. Fleischmanns, a little resort town in the Catskills, was alive with European refugees from Hitler, with astonishing stories of escape and renewal. I heard some of the stories but now I'd be able to ask detailed questions. And I'd make myself a few years older than I was in 1963, so I could get into the hotel nightclubs and dance.
