Neil S. Plakcy Thank you for asking! There is some mild growth in the characters' relationships but nothing that prevents you from enjoying the books out of order. Each mystery is self-contained. Dogs rule!

Thanks. I have just finished read Dorian Gray and I really like it. I am now reading some of his short fiction. Then I saw the Giles Brandeth books on amazon. Also, I have and old college history textbook and sometime I will read different parts of it. ? Gary
