Byrd, your worlds are rich and your heroines unforgettable, but here’s a question I’ve been dying to ask: If your books vanished from Amazon tomorrow… would readers notice immediately, or would they quietly fade into the noise?

I'm happy to be able to tell the stories I want to tell in the way I want to tell them. Having readers enjoy them is definitely a plus but I would continue to write regardless if there is an audience.

I actually have about a dozen authors that I loved who no longer write (some have passed away, others went a different direction with their lives). Their books remain on my bookshelf or on my reading tablet. I hope some of my readers would feel the same about my own stories.

In terms of publishing, Amazon can be very unpredictable and it is one reason my books are wide and can be found at Barnes and Noble, Apple, and Kobo. They can also be found at my own website store.
