Hi Michael, we’ve heard that Hadrian’s mum apparently died when he was young. But we don’t know much more. Are we ever going to learn more about her or meet her (such as in the cycle or chronicles)? I’d also love to see a short story about a younger Haridan the way we did about Royce. Have you considered doing this? Thanks, I hope your having a nice day 😁

Hey Lisa. I'm being pretty closed mouth about "The Cycle." To date I've not disclosed "how far" down the timeline and "what characters" will be in it.
As for a 'young Hadrian' story - well, I wasn't expectiving to write a "young Royce' until the opportunity arose. In that case, someone needed something for an anthology and given the "theme" of the anthology an early Royce tale just seemed to fit.
I just realized that I'm really not giving you much "help" on answering your question. But in many cases until I cross a fork I don't know which direction I'll take.

In the end, what happens to Pickles from your Riyria series? I noticed that he was still alive even though Arcadius told Hadrian he was dead so that Hadrian would actually go through his mission with Royce. I don't recall any mention of him later on. I understand that he is a student but can you provide any more details regarding how his life turned out?

Hi Michael, thank you for all you do! Your characters and stories are truly special. In honor of that brilliance as well as other reasons we named our first son Nolyn and he has been a blessing just like your books! ADHD and Dyslexia made reading hard and not enjoyable to me but audiobooks have helped me find and love your amazing world. Would you ever want your works adapted into movies or a TV series?

Hey Michael! Im very happy for you that you finished the Legens of the first Empire series and i cant wait to read the last instalment. My question is did maybe any publishing group from Serbia reach out to you for any translation of your books? They are very closed in their publishing plans, so maybe you could give us some inside hint :)
