Very true. That seems to be a theme in the original fairy tales as well. Orphaned children, lost children, those with step-parents, or those with only one parent. Callista in To Love a Beast lost her mother early in life and lives with only her father.

Hi there! I was just wondering if you had a book about Robert Ash (Texas Ranger) and Belinda? They were mentioned in 'A Worthy Pursuit'. Also, are Dead-Eye Dan and Hammer Rockwell characters from an actual book series or did you just make them up for the story? Thanks!
