I am a new fan of the Lady Darby books and I dabble in painting. I'm so curious about how you know so much about painting. Do you paint yourself? If not, where do you get your inspiration for the passages about painting?

Anna Lee Huber My inspiration comes from a few places. Yes, I paint. Though nowhere near the level of Lady Darby. :) My husband and older brother (who is an art teacher) are better artists than me, and I talk to them a lot about the process. I also do research in historical painting methods and materials. And I tap into my artistic sensibilities as a writer and a musician (my college degree is in vocal performance) to help me portray Lady Darby's mindset.

I just finished Secrets in the Mist and LOVED it! I was wondering if there's any information you could give us on the next book in the series? I'm so excited for more (and especially LD #6)! :-) Thank you.
