You know what? I can't remember, really. I did consider that the Internet would make the code-cracking bits too easy, but I think the main reason was that I had a short story published in Catalan which featured the Twenty already, and in order to be consistent with it Niamh had to be a teenager in the 90s. It was a hurried choice, anyway. Like most I make. Thanks for reading.

I just want to say I really enjoyed the 'Supernatural Enhancements', it was a impulse one for me (put it on my wishlist after reading the synopsis), very hard to put down after awhile :) I have recommended the book to a few of my friends and my sister. Sorry if you have been asked this already but, what was the inspiration behind the story?
