This summer has been filled with preparing for my own book's launch date, September 25. Consequently, I haven't read as much as usual. I am concentrating on books about Greece and Turkey in preparation for a November trip. Here's the list: Homer's Iliad, A Short History of Crete, Istanbul: city of Majesty at the Crossroads iof the World, The Ancient Mediterranean World, Istanbul: Memories of the City, Byzantine Art, and Song of Achilles.
