Is the Mikey in Slow Dance and the Mikey in Eleanor & Park the same person? I also noticed there's a mention of someone named Mikey in Landline that Georgie went to high school with, but I assume this was in LA not Omaha. Is this an easter egg or do you just really like the name Mikey??

Rainbow Rowell Good God, I sure do reuse names. Okay, so Eleanor and Park and Shiloh and Cary are the same age and go to the same high school, so this is possible ... But, looking at the context, I don't think these Mikeys could be the same character.

I work with a continuity editor now, and she tells me that I'm always putting "Dawn"s and "Lisa"s into the background of my Gen X books. It's embarrassing!
