I recently listened to a podcast about the battle of Agincourt, and it reminded me of Max' little book about it. I wondered if the idea for that one was based on an actual book you had come across previously? (And if so, which one?)

Jodi Taylor Yes, it was. When I was about ten, my dad took me to see Father Christmas in the local department store. In those days there were presents for boys - wrapped in blue paper - and presents for girls - in pink paper. They'd run out of girls' presents so I was invited to choose from the boys' pile. I chose what was obviously a book and when I unwrapped it, it was the story of Agincourt. I read it until it fell apart and it kindled my love of history. I'm sorry - can't remember the name.
