I am not sure that this will even get an answer, since the book was written a long time ago, and I just read it....but... have you written anything else similar to this? I am a retired children's and young adult librarian assistant, and I really enjoyed the story. Mars, dragons, great kid characters, and gadgets... I am looking for the sequel...could there have a prequel? Thank you.

Hi Ramona. Thanks for the question. I'm really glad you enjoyed the book. There are two full-length books in the series: Secret of the Dragon Tomb and The Emperor of Mars. There are also two novellas in the same world, although with a different main character: The Dinosaur Hunters and A Spy in the Deep. Unfortunately, there's not likely to be any more full-length novels, but there may be more novellas in the future, although not this year.

I was planning to regale you with my life story since I wrote from an early stories that have languished in cabinet drawers for several of your lifetimes, Patrick. I didn't actually publish a book until I was 75 years old. My question to you is, finally, "How old were you when you published your first book?" Hi, on the 12th of May 2017 I received an email telling me I was the winner of a copy of The Emperor of Mars. As of today, 26th July 2017 I still haven't received anything. (I won another book on the 26th of June and received it two weeks ago.) I already wrote twice to Goodreads asking what to do. Can you help?
