Who is your favorite literary character?

Gill Fernandez After a lifetime of reading I'd have to think long and hard to aswer this question and even then I don't think I can come up with a single character as the top favourite. It would have to be a list, probably twenty or more, and all favourites for different reasons. So I'm going to side step this question and say my favourite is the best character in whatever I'm reading at the moment, and that would be Glynn in Penelope Lively's 'The Photograph'.
