Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Maalan During a conversation with a young literary colleague on early Tamil stories, I realized that there exists a lot of confusion on the first Tamil short story in the modern genre. To my surprise, many young people are not aware of the fact that Bharathi wrote prose!. I thought I should record for posterity the various trends in literature with a history perspective.
