In the US, we are experiencing a huge puppy mills problem, especially post pandemic. Our National Breed Club currently has 800 puppy mill dogs in rescue, and we do not even have the ability to take doodles into our program. I work with two regional club and our national club rescue. Thank you for doing such important work to help dogs from puppy mills - they are horrendous, which is why I've written about them in Animal Listeners, to draw attention to the animals suffering there.
