Hello, can not wait to pick up your book and it seems like it might be one of the most fun reads I'll read in 2025. I looked at the blurp and had one question: where does the name The Book of Dog come from?

♑︎♑︎♑︎ Hi Noah. Well I’m pretty thrilled to hear you’re excited to read The Book of Dog. It’s my favorite of all the books I’ve written, and there is a scene near the end that is what you might call the ‘boss fight’ if my book was a video game, and it is the most fun I’ve ever had writing anything.

The book’s title is a play on the books of the Bible, this book being the latest creation story, written by dogs.

My book club here is reading Fatimah Asghar's When We Were Sisters, and I happened upon your review of it here on Goodreads. It made my heart jump!
