How do you get inspired to write?

Alia Luria There are lots of triggers that get me into the mood to write. The artist who does all of the covers, maps, and art for my books has already finished the cover for Ocularum, and that is a great inspiration to write. The Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings/Hobbit soundtracks are also a good inspiration. If I am really in the zone with good music and no distractions, I can get through five or six thousand words in one evening. Some days, I am lucky to get two hundred on the page.
