How do you deal with writer’s block?

Alia Luria Writer's block, which Steven Pressfield calls resistance in the War of Art, something that I think all writers deal with. I try to follow Steven Pressfield's advice and just not succumb to the resistance. I think this is a similar theme to Anne Lamott's Bird By Bird, which is an excellent book for aspiring writers. Even if you sit in front of the screen and write the worst thing you've ever written, at least you're moving forward. You might discard it later, you might fix it, or you might decide six months from now it's the best thing ever. I would rather have a novel that needs work in my computer than no novel at all.
