This quote: https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/3028... … along with chapter 3 in Through the Looking-Glass (the train ride scene) inspired the memory train. ;) That's why you meet the first of the "looking-glass rejects" there (that was the chap Carroll introduced his looking-glass insects). :)
