I don't get inspired so much as dragged kicking and screaming by my brain. I love writng stories about ladies down-on-their-luck who pull themselves up and keep trying to follow their dreams. Maybe it's because I myself need the inspiration to keep striving when life lobs lemons at my head, and I'm too tired to duck. Samantha (the heroine of my Dimple books) never quits, so I can't, either. I can always use a laugh, and I hope that my readers would like one, too!
