Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Cathy Maxwell Ha! My editor asked me to write a book about a duke. Readers like dukes and she believes it is time I wrote one. I haven't in quite some time. Of course, the trick is to give my duke story an extra twist. My task was to think outside the ducal box, so to speak. The first book of "The Marrying the Duke" series is THE MATCH OF THE CENTURY. You'll have to let me know if I succeeded or not. It will be out this coming autumn.
