Hi Mike, Your reply to the stipend is classic. Have you or has anyone approached you in crafting a true Armigal beer, or Montemorcey wine? What would they taste like? The wine being a Cabernet Sauvignon type? The beer being a Oatmeal Stout? I would love the bottles/labels for my collection!
Michael J. Sullivan
It's interesting because apparently quite a few authors I know are into brewing...that may say something about the industry that alcohol and publishing go together. I actually don't have any designs on that end. I will say that Cab is my favorite wine, and yes I imagine Montemorcey as being full bodied with a rather sweet aroma. I haven't really thought about what Armigil's beer would be like, other than being dark so a tasty oatmeal stout seems to fit perfectly.

Dear Michael, my friends Mara Brewer and Roman S!delnik are the beginning writers. They have written a couple of books like "Softman" and others http://distribbooks.com/en/catalog.Their genres are fantasy, adventures, detectives. They are your fans and so am I. Could you write a review of "Softman" or advice somebody who could do this. Grateful in advance. Sincerely your, Isabella

Hi Michael. I'm curious about your decision to "revisit" a story at least somewhat already told in the Royce and Hadrian books. I've read other answers about the books exploring what really happened which I can get behind as a history major. But how do you feel about readers already knowing the ending? Thank you for your time! - Samantha

Dear Michael, I am currently reading Age of Death (of The Legends of the First Empire) and I am loving it. I can't wait to find out what happens next but I also don't want to finish the series. I remember you wrote a blog about the "soundtracks" of The Riyria Revelations. Do you have a special playlist for The Legends of the First Empire that you could share with us? Thank you, All the best, Ana
