Dear Julia, you dedicated The Sum of All Kisses to Paul as always but mostly to yourself. Somehow it touched me that you dedicated this book to yourself, is there any particular reason you dedicated this book to yourself? You always said it was difficult to write, why?

Julia Quinn There really isn't any specific reason it was so difficult. I think I was just kind of burned out and needed some time off. It wasn't writer's block--I think that's something different. I just felt like I needed to take a break and recharge.
