How do you get inspired to write?

Allen Wolf I don't necessarily get inspired to write. It's just something I enjoy doing. However, I love going to museums, movies, and plays to help inspire my imagination. Playing with my kids and reading books also fuels my creativity. The other day, I was entertaining the kids by pretending the stairs that go up actually go down. I stubbed my toe, they laughed, and it was completely worth it. It's those interactions that inspire me with new tales to tell.
