Where did you get your inspiration for your characters names?

Danielle L. Jensen Cécile's name came out of the mysterious depths of my imagination, but the influences for her surname and for Tristan's name were the Arthurian literature classes I was taking as part of my English degree. Once I decided I wanted to have a somewhat French inspired story, I used French baby name websites for names, as well as lists of extinct French peerage for surnames and titles.
