What's the hardest part about being an author, and how did you get into writing?

Kasie West The hardest part is probably when I get inside my own head while I'm writing and am extra critical of myself. When I start thinking about what other people are going to think of it and if it's going to be good and will anyone like it and on and on and on. I have to get out of my own head if I want to be able to write. And as for how I got into writing, I have always enjoyed reading. My whole life I've been a reader. So one day about 8 years ago, I thought of an idea for a story and thought to myself: why not try to write it? I enjoyed writing so much that I never stopped.

why is it in every book, like your newest book, have a connection between two different books, like cooper and abby are in it when it never mentions anything about the book that mentions them and never says anything in the book that has them as a main character???
