How do you get inspired to write?

K.V. Ankers Everything inspires me to write stories that I want to read. I might see something happening in the world and think to myself, what if this happened instead, or next? So I write it down. Sometime these ideas then become stories that develop over time. By the time it becomes a book, it might only barely resemble my original thought, but that is half the fun!
