Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Christopher Dewey I studied maritime archaeology at the University of West Florida, and I combined several stories I read about at school with some of my own experiences and the story just wrote itself. I understand Carl Hiaasen uses a similar method; he saves unusual stories from the Miami Herald and then weaves them into a thrilling tale.
