How do you get inspired to write?

Elia Winters Honestly, i don't get inspired to write all the time. Sometimes, yes, I'm dying to get to a really hot scene or resolve a big conflict, but other times, I'd rather lie on the couch and stare at the ceiling. I write anyway because I'm always working to cultivate self-discipline, and each day writing builds the habit. I'm doing the 365K challenge in 2016 and it's forcing me to be focused and productive even when it's hard.
