I thoroughly enjoyed your book...so emotionally-charged with a cast of unforgettable characters. I was a little surprised though that the conclusion to the story was voiced by Amy. Why did you make the transition from Colom to her?

Gerard Kelly Hi Wendy, thanks for your great review - so glad you enjoyed the book. If you look back, you'll see that all the diary extracts in the book are from Amy's perspective, not Colom's. The idea is that we're following Colom's story, but at the same time there is this other story at work, and only at the end do we see them come together... So I thought it might be nice if it was Amy who signs off for us. Every Blessing, Gerard
