Goodreads asked Ralph Cissne:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Ralph Cissne I rarely experience blocks. If dialogue in a scene starts to sag I may take a break, practice yoga or go for a walk with the characters in mind. Often I will sleep and allow the process of imagination to work. Blocks usually represent the need for a twist or turning point. Cut the deck and see what card appears – Tarot or Bicycle 808s. The play is yours.
