Goodreads asked Miranda Moondawn:

How do you get inspired to write?

Miranda Moondawn I was inspired to write by the powers of the Muse which I found in other great writers like Macdonald, Blake etc.
I was also inspired by the devas and faeries of Mother Nature - the Goddess who is mother of us all.

I was also inspired and compelled to write out of my own creative genius - my inner daimons and my desire to contribute to that amazing collective cultural record left behind by all those great writers and artists who in better days had aristocratic patrons who would provide their material needs while they sought to commune with the Muse of their art.

Unlike today where you have to sell yourself and pimp book to commercial publishers and retial outlets to get it read.

I was frankly told by one publisher woh rejected my work that the MAIN object of the Novel was to not to teach or give higher insights - but to entertain.

Imagine if Tolstoy, Milton, Blake and all the others were told to write for the purpose of entertaining and amusing and titilating rather than trying to morally edify and enoble the human spirit..
