That's a tough one. Villains rarely get to shine, because books are all about the heroes. But I'm going to cheat and use a space opera movie; Zorg, from the Fifth Element, is one of my favorite villains of all time.

Hello there good sir! Just wanted to say how much I'm loving the Powder Mage Trilogy, I tore through Joe Abercrombie's First Law Trilogy (have you read these? Seem akin to your style) and was given this as a follow up series. Stupid goodreads wont let me rant. Will the related works be released as physical novels?
