Gail Carriger I would say the first book is right in between the two. If Sophronia is High School and Alexia is all grown up, Rue is off to college. If you're asking about nookie, there isn't very much. But I always say that you know her better than I do so my best advise is that you read it first.

Hi Gail, I ended up trying the Parasol Protectorate, Finishing school and Prudence this year. I adore your books! I also loved Marine Biology, which I wish was much longer! I love that you include same sex relationships, I love Lyall and Biffy and hope to find out what happens to them maybe? And also hope you might write a full length book someday in the future featuring a same sex couple as the main?
