How do you get inspired to write?

Jerome Strong If, when you say write, you are referring to poetry, I only write when there is a muse for writing poetry. I can usually find my muse while reading something literary. It is not all literary works which can move me, I just know it when I am reading it. I have been moved to write after having listened to certain music which provokes deeply felt emotions.
