MORIUM set the stage by introducing the characters and the torment they went through. In DARK HORIZONS, I wanted to write a deeper character story on how Nathan and Lexi were handling these newfound abilities. How their once strong bond of friendship were affected by the events in the first book.
Nathan, still with all his bottled up anger, and hatred, fights his urges for revenge. Lexi discovers that being her true self, and standing up against her bullies without The Gift, can lead to better things.
It also gave me a chance to write Stacy more into the storyline. She has been a favorite of the readers and it was enjoyable, as it always is, to write her parts.
I hope readers enjoy DARK HORIZONS as much as I did writing it.
